A Day Out with Thomas the Tank Engine!!

This morning we headed out to Greenfield Village to see Thomas the Tank Engine!! Our friends and neighbors John and Carrie let us tag along with them since they have a membership (thanks guys)! Mason had been waiting for this day for a long time! We first rode the Carousel and had a blast, I don't think we could have wiped the smile off of his face. We then headed to the activity tent where he patiently waited in line to get a tattoo of Thomas on his arm. He was so funny holding SO still to get it done. We did some other little activities that the park had which were fun (riding cars, coloring, watching the "spinning train", got an ice cream, etc) and then finally around 1:30pm we were able to jump in line and watch for Thomas to pull up. He was so excited and just kept telling Andy and I how cool it was! It was so cute to watch him get so excited.
Our train ride lasted about 20 minutes, he loved every minute of it!! It was so special to be able to do this with him as he is going to have to be sharing the attention with his little sister very soon!
